Lafayette Park, Detroit  Before designing Dundanion Court Neil Hegarty, architect for Dundanion Court, visited Lafayette Park in Detroit which had been recently completed.  Lafayette Park was designed by Mies van der Rohe and the influence on the design of Dundanion is obvious.  What is so interesting about Lafayette Park is its success to this day as a place and as a community.  It is now one of the most stable neighbourhoods in Detriot.
